Google Domain Registry Attack

Google’s primary search domain for Palestine has seemingly been hacked, with the standard Google search interface for the region being replaced by a political message from its hackers.

From the information available so far, it doesn’t appear that Google’s own servers were hacked — instead, it seems that Google’s Palestinian domain was hijacked and redirected to another server altogether. How that was done, exactly, is unclear.

The hackers further went on to suggest that changing the title of Israel on Google Maps to Palestine would be a “revolution” — and suggesting that visitors listen to R&B singer Rihanna and “be cool.”

A Google spokesperson statement:

“Some users visiting google.ps have been getting redirected to a different website; Google services for the google.ps domain were not hacked. We’re in contact with the organization responsible for managing this domain name so we can help resolve the problem.”

Few days before a Palestine hacker hacked the facebook founder timeline and it shows some uncomfortable internet experience hope all will come back to control soon
